Time to Leave Korea

With the recent change in leadership in South Korea, it is time for America to reconsider its policy in the region. We have maintained a military presence of about 30,000 troops in the area since before I was born. With the rising controversy as well as a growing resistance or resentment by many South Korean citizens over the deployment of THAAD and the election of a leader who is himself questioning his country's relationship with America, it may be time to initiate a withdrawal of our troops from South Korea.

I'm not convinced that a continued military presence in South Korea is worth the risk to American lives or the cost to American taxpayers.
